The Normandie Water Jug is a discreetly elegant piece that is just the right size for any drinking occasion. It has a beautiful, integrated medallion that can be engraved with your initials on request.

A finely crafted jug from the Normandy region of France, this jug is made of clay and has a lovely aged matte finish with a handle and short and small spout. It is in good condition and measures 7.8 cm (3.1 inches) tall and 6.7 cm (2.5 inches) in diameter at its widest point.

Designed by Jean Puiforcat, this exceptional water jug was created specifically for the first-class tables of cruise ships. Its stringently geometric shape is characteristic of Puiforcat’s design language and has helped to establish the company as one of the most exclusive silversmiths in the world.

This particular jug was used for serving either wine or apple cider and is in good condition. There are a few scratches and blemishes that have been consistent with age and use but do not affect the overall appearance or value of this jug.

Normandy is a fantastic location for a family holiday. Its proximity to the English channel means that it is easily accessible from many countries. The area is also home to many UNESCO sites and the famous D-Day landing beaches.

In addition to the beaches, Normandy is a great place to visit historical monuments and museums. It is home to many cathedrals and castles, including Bayeux, Carentan, Falaise, Mont St Michel, Caen, and Cherbourg.
