Normandyjug is a finely crafted, antique cider pitcher jug. It was made in Normandy, France, circa 1860 and is in good condition with a rich patinated and polished finish.
Designed to hold a bottle of cider or wine, the tall, cylindrical bowl is engraved with castle and leaf motifs. The rim of the base is decorated with a T-shaped gadget mark and the handle has a small crest with a castle motif.
The jug is 9.5″ high and has a diameter of 13.5″. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage.
